Cotton buds under the Akpamyk brand, made at the Ashgabat factory for medical wadding and cosmetic cotton products and sold in the standard 100-piece screw-top tub. The pack is marked 100% cotton, carries a Turkmen technical standard (TŞ) number and the Cotton Turkmenistan origin mark.

The tips are formed from wadding the plant makes on site. Its feedstock is purified fibrous waste from the spinning mills of the Ministry of Textile Industry — short fibre that cannot be spun into yarn — which is cleaned, bleached and rebuilt. That is the normal raw material for bud tips anywhere; what is unusual here is that the whole chain from raw cotton to finished tub sits inside one country.

This is the plant’s most retail-ready line and the one with a published export minimum: 10,000 packs, against a stated capacity of 1,033,000 packs a month. A first order is a trial container rather than a year’s offtake.
