Cotton wool in roll form under the Akpamyk brand, in 250 g, 500 g and 1000 g bags, graded ýokary hilli — highest grade — and produced to a Turkmen technical standard printed on the pack. Made from 100% Turkmen cotton at the Ashgabat medical wadding and cosmetic cotton factory.

Rolled wadding is the format hospitals, clinics and dressing-pack assemblers buy, because it is cut to size at the point of use rather than pre-portioned. The three bag weights cover the usual range from a single treatment room to a central sterile supply department.

The material is the same wadding that goes into the plant’s 100 g and 200 g medical cotton wool packs — bleached, re-lapped fibre recovered from the spinning mills of the Ministry of Textile Industry — presented in a continuous roll instead of flat packs. As with the flat packs, pharmacopoeia compliance is a separate question from the Turkmen standard and we will ask the producer for current certificates if your market needs them.
