Viscous paving-grade road bitumen produced from West Turkmen crude at the Türkmenbašy Complex of Oil Refineries and the Seýdi Refinery, to Turkmen state standard TDS 771-2015. Two penetration grades are produced and exported: BND 60/90, the standard paving binder for regional road construction, and the harder BND 40/60 for hotter climates and heavier traffic loading.

Applications
Hot-mix asphalt concrete for road paving, surface dressing, patching and general road construction. BND 60/90 is the volume grade across the region; BND 40/60 is specified where higher summer temperatures or heavier axle loads call for a stiffer binder.
