Description
Flaked industrial magnesium chloride (bishofite), obtained by the complex processing of Garabogaz brine on the Caspian coast of Turkmenistan. Supplied by the State Concern Türkmenhimiýa in soft bulk containers or lined bags for industrial buyers.

Applications
Intended for the chemical and energy industries, general industrial use and construction. Bishofite is widely used in de-icing and dust suppression, magnesium oxychloride (Sorel) cement and flooring, drilling fluids, and as a raw material in magnesium chemistry.
Packing
Packed into single-trip and reusable soft containers — types MKR-1.OS, MKO-1.OS, MKR-1.OM, MK-1.OL and MK-1.5L — or into plastic bags to TDS-17811 enclosed in flax-jute-kenaf sacks to TDS-30090.
Marking
Transport marking to TDS-14192, with the handling instruction “Keep dry” applied to the bags and the danger sign to TDS-19433 (class 9, subclass 9.2, category 922).
Transport and storage
Carried as undercarriage shipments in covered vehicles of any type, under the cargo traffic rules applicable to that mode. Stored packed in closed warehouses or in container yards.
