Gaseous oxygen produced to TDS 781-2016 by low-temperature rectification of air, offered in industrial and medical grades.
Specification
- Industrial oxygen: 99.7% min (first grade), 99.5% min (second grade)
- Medical oxygen: 99.5% min, odourless
- Water vapour 0.007% max (first grade), 0.009% max (second grade)
- Hydrogen 0.3% max (first grade), 0.5% max (second grade)
- Carbon dioxide 0.01% max for medical grade
Applications
Cutting and welding, metallurgy and chemical oxidation for the industrial grade; hospital and ambulance supply for the medical grade.
Loading and delivery
Filled into steel cylinders at the producing plant. Cylinder handling and return arrangements are agreed per contract.
