Raw Cotton Fibre, Type 4 and 4/5

Turkmen upland cotton fibre, ginned at the cotton plants of Ahal, Mary, Lebap and Dashoguz and sold for export by crop year, type and grade. Around $41m has traded on the state exchange since 2022.

• Classed to Turkmen national standard; certificate of quality with every lot

Applications

Ring and rotor spinning for apparel and home textile yarns. Turkmen type 4/5 is a medium staple well suited to counts from Ne 6/1 to Ne 30/1.

Loading and delivery

Loaded at the ginning plants in the Ahal, Mary, Lebap and Dashoguz regions, including the S. Rozmetov agricultural joint-stock company gin. Rail dispatch through Farap and Sarahs; container loading for sea shipment from Turkmenbashy.

Commercial basis
