Applications
Filter layer in disposable and N95-type face masks, air and liquid filtration media, oil and chemical sorbents for environmental clean-up, thermal and acoustic insulation, automotive, wipes, furniture, and medical and protective clothing where a barrier layer is needed. Garagum uses its own meltblown as the middle layer of its SMS fabric and its face masks.

Garagum Nonwoven is the nonwoven division of Garagum Economic Society, a private Ashgabat manufacturer registered in 1992 and a member of the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Turkmenistan. The plant is certified to ISO 9001:2015, ISO 13485:2016, ISO 14001:2015 and ISO 45001:2018, is a member of EDANA, and exports to more than 16 countries including Germany, the United Kingdom, Latvia, Romania and Brazil. Raw material is Turkmen polypropylene granulate, which keeps supply stable when import markets are volatile.
Loading and delivery
EXW or FCA Ashgabat; FOB Turkmenbashi, CIF and DAP on request. Meltblown is shipped as rolls on pallets; it is light and bulky, so freight is quoted per container rather than per tonne. Lead time and minimum order are confirmed at quotation.
