Applications
Supermarket and wholesale-market importers in the Gulf, Central Asia, Russia and the Caucasus; food-service distributors; and — with GLOBALG.A.P. in place — European retail programmes, which Yigit states it intends to enter. Winter supply (November to April) is where Turkmen greenhouse tomatoes have the strongest price position.
Producer
Yigit Economic Society was founded in 2008 and entered agriculture in 2015 with 1,000 hectares under management. The first 100,000 m² glasshouse (3,600 t/yr) opened in 2018; two more complexes totalling 240,000 m² followed in 2019, a further 400,000 m² in 2022, and a 2,140,000 m² expansion in 2025 brought the site to 2.54 million m² — one of the largest greenhouse complexes in Central Asia. Equipment is from leading European greenhouse suppliers; agronomists and engineers run the crop under sensor-controlled heat, humidity, CO₂ and light, growing cluster, sun-shaped (beef) and cherry tomatoes at a current capacity of more than 80,000,000 kg a year. Produce is sold under the Mahmal trademark. Address: 10th km of the Dushak–Mane road, Shukur Bagshy farmers’ association, Kaka district, Ahal region.
