Choosing a weight
The 220 g/m² loom-state build is the apparel and bag weight, and the one the mills quote every trading day. The 378 and 384 g/m² builds are optically bleached heavy twills for industrial use — the bleach gives a clean white ground, so they can be printed or dyed to shade without a further preparation stage.
Applications
Workwear and uniform trousers and jackets, aprons, industrial covers and tarpaulin liners, bag and tote making, and shoe and boot linings.
Related
Every loom-state cloth the Turkmen mills weave is listed under grey fabric, each on one page with all of its weights. The ranges they dye, print and finish are collected under dyed cotton fabric.
